Rock art images of Bighorn Sheep are ubiquitous in the west of North America. They have been manufactured almost invariably in profile, yet in many guises. This study describes an – in my opinion – unique example of a Bighorn recorded by my wife Elles and me at Cedar Point; a petroglyph site in the extreme south of Utah. The Bighorn is intentionally large, yet fainty executed, resulting in a “ghostly” appearance, hence my (subjective) name of the image: “the Bighorn Ghost”.
