Rock Art Studies Bibliographic Database updated
Dear Rock Art Researchers and Students, I am pleased to announce the latest revision of the Rock Art Studies Bibliographic Database.Now in its twentieth year of development, the database contains over 27,000 citations to the world’s rock art literature – approximately 20% more reference data than last year’s version!
The data is available on line as a joint project of the Bay Area Rock Art Research Association and UC-Berkeley’s Bancroft Library. See:

Hello again, Andrea – Having just left my comments on the release of the RARO database, I clicked through to what is apparently the last update that I sent to you regarding the Rock Art Studies Bibliographic Database – in 2013, when the database contained less than 50% of the citations that are available today! Here is the updated link. The project is currently hosted by the Museum of Northern Arizona (Flagstaff) USA. The project continues to offer open access to the most complete portal into the world’s rock art literature. There are now more than 55,650 citations, fully searchable and sortable, by standard bibliographic fields, along with web links and abstracts.
